Transport Tycoon Notes
The original release of Transport Tycoon Deluxe (and the original Transport Tycoon before it) were written for native DOS and will not run on Windows XP. There is also a ported version that was released that was written to run under Windows 9x. This version CAN be made to run under Windows XP. If you wish to run the game you need to have the version written for Windows. It can be identified by a "Fish UK" logo on the box.
How to run it
If you have the Windows version of Transport Tycoon Deluxe then you need to download and install the appropriate Patch by Josef Drexler. The patch has its own excellent and extensive website, and rather than repeat what is said there I suggest you visit TTDPatch.net.
Unlike most other games on this guide Transport Tycoon Deluxe does not have a refresh rate problem when used with the patch from TTDPatch.net
