XP DOS Games Introduction Help Guide

Welcome to The DOS Games on Windows XP Guide

Welcome to the DOS Games on Windows XP Guide. If you buy a new PC today it is highly likely to come with Windows XP already installed. Unlike older DOS based versions of Windows, Windows XP no longer supports true native DOS. There are a great many games out there that still appeal, but having been written for DOS, they are not necesarily compatible with your shiny new Windows XP PC. The vast majority of old DOS games can run on Windows XP, but it is not often obvious what to do to get them running. This guide is here to help you to enjoy all the old titles that have been slowly gathering dust on your shelf.
